SUPERDECK® Deck & Dock with “Splinterlock Technology” is a high build elastomeric coating designed specifically for new or old damaged wood and concrete surfaces. The unique formula provides long lasting protection against moisture and the damaging effects of the sun. It is designed to expand and contract along with the substrate while offering excellent scuff resistance for heavy duty foot traffic areas. Deck & Dock will lock down splinters and bridge dimensionally unstable cracks on old damaged wood surfaces. Deck & Dock also contains a highly effective mildewcide and algaecide to protect the coated surface from mildew and algae growth. Use Duckback™ Anti-Skid Additive to provide an attractive skid resistant surface on decking, boat docks, stair treads, ramps, and walkways.

USES: New or old exterior wood decking, boat docks, plywood decking, composite decking, ramps, balconies, porches, stairs, walkways, and concrete surfaces. Note: not for use on garage floors, driveways, or automobile traffic areas. Deck & Dock will fill cracks up to 1/4” making it ideal for resurfacing old damaged wood decking and concrete patios. Use of Deck & Dock on old badly damaged decking is an effective alternative to the costly expense of deck replacement.

HOW TO USE ANTI-SKID ADDITIVE: Mix one package of Duckback Anti Skid Additive to one gallon of Deck & Dock coating to create a slip-resistant surface. If there is not enough open space in the gallon can to accept the entire package then remove some of the coating before adding anti-skid, or mix the two in a larger container. Stir thoroughly to mix and evenly distribute the granules throughout the coating. Add Anti-Skid Additive only to the final two coats of Deck & Dock.

APPLICATION: Apply with brush, roller, or airless sprayer. When rolling use 3/8” nap synthetic roller cover for smooth finishes, 1/2”-3/4” nap for medium texture finish, and 1-1/4” nap for heavy texture finishes. Back rolling is suggested when spraying working the product smoothly and evenly into the surface to ensure a uniform appearance. Always maintain a wet edge to avoid lapping. 3-4 coats are recommended at a spread rate of 50 sq. ft. per gallon. Test Area: Always apply product to a small test area and allow to dry completely before coating entire project to ensure desired color and appearance.

SPREAD RATE: Coverage may vary on surface condition, type of surface and number of coats applied.  When filling cracks or locking down splinters on old damaged wood surfaces, multiple (3-5) coats may be needed and will provide coverage of about 50-75 square feet per gallon. On smoother wood and concrete surfaces, 1-2 coats may be needed, providing coverage of about 75-125 square feet per gallon.
